Atlantic Coast Airlines will convert 10 options on CRJ 200ER aircraft, according to an announcement made today by Bombardier Aerospace. The order is valued at approximately $200 million.

The agreement increases ACA's firm CRJ orders to 33 aircraft of which 11 have been delivered. The airline's remaining aircraft will be delivered by mid-2001.

ACA will be employing part of its CRJ fleet to expand its United Express regional jet operation throughout the eastern U.S.

ACA currently serves the United Airlines hubs at Washington Dulles and Chicago O'Hare international airports. Atlantic Coast Airlines offers more than 500 daily departures systemwide, serving 50 destinations in 22 states with a route system spanning the entire Eastern seaboard of the U.S.
