AAI/ACL Shows Off New Product, Announces Contract With Allison

The company also chose this year's Paris Air Show to showcase an upgraded Computer-Aided Test Instrument incorporating a newly developed software program with touch screen capability. Designed to interface with existing hydraulic test benches from any manufacturer, the equipment allows customers to upgrade their testing capabilities to include servo components. International Marketing Representative Sean Hoskins demonstrated the equipment's sophisticated capabilities for visitors to AAI/ACL's exhibit in the USA National Pavilion.

In another announcement at Paris, AAI/ACL revealed a new contract with Allison Engines to become an authorized test equipment supplier for the Rolls-Royce subsidiary.

Tom Wurzel, president of ACL, voiced his company's appreciation for Allison's interest in ACL Technologies, stating, "We are proud to be one of the selected few manufacturers that Allison recognizes as capable to provide test and support equipment for its engine accessories and components."

AAI/ACL specializes in five primary areas including defense systems, engineering and maintenance services, fluid test systems, transportation systems, and weather systems.

Along with the Allison Engine contract, company representatives discussed another long term customer. Thai Airways International recently ordered an Aircraft Brake Stand and a wide-body Mobile Hydraulic Ground Power Unit. The order comes right on the heels of two equipment deliveries: an IMAGE Servo Component Test System to Teijin Seiki and a Computer Controlled Main Engine Driven Hydraulic Pump Stand.

AAI/ACL also recently fulfilled a $1.28 million contract with Lockheed Martin upon delivery of the sixth and final sophisticated hydraulic pumping and conditioning unit. The units will be used to service the hydraulic flight controls on the space shuttle.
