Embraer executive vice president Frederico Curado said he expects to see several airline customers announce orders for the new ERJ-140 in the form of upgrades from the 35-seat ERJ-135.
The 40-seat ERJ-140 program is on schedule with first flight expected next month. It will be on display at Farnborough this July.
Curado said all three of the smaller ERJs (the ERJ-135/140/145) will be on display at Farnborough and hopes that the three can do a formation flyover at the show (similar to the Airbus formation at Le Bourget last year).
