Saab's Gripen Puts On A Show
Farnborough, September 3 -- The JAS 39 Gripen made its maiden Farnborough flight at Farnborough yesterday with a sharp flying demonstration. The delta winged fighter put on some tight maneuvers for the admiring audience of air show attendees. The Gripen was not displayed at the last Farnborough Air Show in 1994, and had only previously been on static (non-flying) display at the 1992 show.
